I'm happy to be able to post in this thread. I was able to order a 16 GB N4 at around 2:30 PM EST. When the page went back to "Notify Me" earlier today I thought I'd be waiting days or weeks to order. I set up Firefox to continuously refresh the page and detect changes though and after multiple failed attempts at putting it in the cart I finally got one to go through. It is weird to me that availability is intermittent right now, I guess there's some element of luck involved at this point in getting one.

Perhaps the first round of people who realized that they had 12 orders pending went through and cancelled the 11 they didn't want. So the stock numbers have stabilized again. Google was probably conservative about tracking stock and had to wait for all the pending transactions to clear before they could be sure they had stock?

For those still trying to order, try the play store agin and hit F5 a few times. After a few refreshes the "Add to Cart" option reappeared. I was able to add the 16gb to my cart, but I didn't try to push the order through since mines went through earlier. May be worth a shot

Hard to tell. Some get them right away. Mine took 30 minutes. Some still haven't got a confirmation even though the order shows in their Google play account.

My order appears on my google play account. It's been 3 hours and still nothing from Google in my inbox.

I've been following peoples' experiences here and elsewhere and I don't think there is a consistent wait time for confirmation emails. It took forever for my order to finally go through, but I got my confirmation email within minutes of Google accepting the order.

I got an e-mail response from google support saying that it would ship out by the 15th. So by Thursday, you should receive an e-mail with shipping confirmation and tracking #. All orders are shipped out via 2-day shipping, so you should have your order by next Monday if everything goes as planned.

Anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks, although there does seem to be some residual stock that is randomly showing up in the U.S.

I just sat there and refreshed the nexus 4 8gb page for the last 10 minutes and sure enough one appeared in stock. Order placed.

I downloaded an auto-refresh extension for chrome, which made the process a lot easier.

Man I was hoping it would ship today, since they said they would be shipping some today.

Also I called up my local t-mobile store to see if they'd have it and only one store in the area is carrying it (Laurel, MD) and they won't have it til tomorrow. I want to go play with one!

My order went through at 2:45 PM EST and I got a confirmation email from Google within 2 minutes. It's still listed as Pending though on Google Wallet. I'm without a phone right now so i'm just hoping to get it before the week's over.

I'm sure it just means it's pending shipment. I haven't seen any reports from anyone saying their order is in completed status yet.

I called Google and they told me that the funds are still there, but that is a check to make sure you have sufficient funds for the purchase. No money will actually be taken out until it is shipped.
