I have had never ending problems with 2.1 and my bluetooth to my car stereo using doggcatcher. All I want to do is listen to podcasts via bluetooth without pauses every 5 seconds and without complete audio death after a random # of minutes. I've tried:

Fresh 2.0b, 2.02b
DC 1.0, DC 2.0

Im currently with DC 2.0 and its slow as HELL, i'm just getting sick of this. I ran fresh 1.1 for a month and it was pretty good!

I know there is fresh 2.0d an also DC 2.05 now. BUt does anyone here use bluetooth and have that working with either? I figured I'd try ONE more before going back to 1.5 :(

Mystic, you seem to consistently give good advice so I'll give this a try tonight and report back about bluetooth. I know most people probably don't use their phones for some of the "advanced" things like I do, so I know im the odd man out complaining about this stuff!

give Fresh 2.0d a shot... both that and DC 2.05 are based off the recent Sprint leak.. everything works for me..

I agree with Mystic. I am running DC 2.05 and not having any issues. BT has been working. Mind you, I haven't listened to audio for long periods of time yet, but I have listened to music through my BT headphones for a good 15 or 20 minutes with no problems. There is an occasional skip, but I had that with my 1.5 based ROM as well. By the way, you're right about the original DC2.0 ROM being slow. Damages put it out so people could play with it, but he hadn't made any performance tweaks on it. DC2.05 has the performance tweaks and I can assure you, it is very fast.

I honestly think dogcatcher is the culprit.. maybe. I'm d/ling fresh 2.0d now. Fresh 1.5 android was pretty great. Seems no one uses this $7 app :(

Well Mystic I've been using the fresh 2.0d rom for about 5 days now. You were right! It is stable and my bluetooth music has stopped skipping AND it doesn't die randomly. Major major changes. It is also much faster, but I dont think quite as fast as 1.5 was.

Even still, i'll take it! I'll just be sticking with Fresh from now on and be looking for his leak when 2.1 becomes official.

Thanks again Mystic!
