Root [International] Jellybean 4.1.2 ROM available with multi screen!

From the XDA post:

"This Firmware is already pre-rooted as Saturn had rooted his device before we knew that he had this new TEST Firmware. This firmware will increase your binary counter, if you don't know what this means then don't flash this firmware. This Firmware will also change your device status to Modified."

Downloading now. Eager to try it out.

Excited that a leak with multiscreen is out there since I've been hoping this function would be added to the US versions.

Just my two cents, though Odin doesn't require a rooted device to flash a ROM, putting this thread in the ATR section would be ok too since this is a pre rooted ROM and the modification counter is affected.

Nonetheless, awesome find!

Yep, this means it should be in the root section. Anything that increases the flash counter should be treated as root.

Plus it is rooted so "root".

I have asked to move this back. it IS custom.

Running this firmware now... and it's is freaking sweet. Anyone who expected more from JB will get their money's worth with this update. Multi-window is awesome - even if it is not supported by that many apps yet. The gallery now beats any 2nd party gallery-app. And there's some funny addations that you'll never use (paper artist / snap 'n go / a jewish calendar...)

I havent been on pure stock for a while - but the ability to choose what buttons to display in the notification panel... was that there already? I just found it now: huge improvement.

Running very smooth, no FC's as of yet.

I strongly recommend this one. Just debloat the crap outta it and enjoy pure stock for a while. I forgot how amazing it is after being on custom roms for so long. Everything works just peachy, best rom I've been on.

How do you debloat it?

I agree excellent ROM. Added functions such as multi-screen show Samsung as truly innovating.

In a few years they have come a long way from just being Apple wannabes.

Easiest is to use Titanium to uninstall all that crap that is just eating up space - flipboard, yahoo weather & finance, google+ etc etc. If you are not sure about removing a program Titanium let's you freeze it. That way it will not show up in your appdrawer, but it can be unfrozen when needed.

Thanks - I have Titanium so will give it a try.

Love Flipboard though!
