Will we all get one.

This can only probably be answered by senior members, by that i mean those who have purchased any or all nexus products from launch days.
So here's my question, living in the UK our stock lasted barely 1/2 hour, the next delivery is apparently 3 weeks from launch.... there's a strong possibility that the next stock will be less than is really required.
What worries me is the fact that google are not allowing preorders via the playstore, loosing the advantage of supply and demand opportunities.
Although my biggest fear is google are informing customers (who wished to be informed by email of new stock arriving) on a weekday during the normal working day.... between 8am to 4pm..... basically leaving me and many others hanging out to dry.
So will we all get one, and by that i mean sooner rather than later.

Well I personally think that everyone that wants one will get one just by when is the real question probably later then sooner. Google's being bad about this selling it really should have pre-order for the new stock so 1 they know how many they need and 2 so people like you know more less when they should expect one I'm personally waiting on backorder got lucky n got one ordered in the US with refresh method on same day now just waiting on it to be probably made/ shipped to google then me lolz :-\

Can anyone confirm weather Google have ever adopted a preorder purchasing scheme.... surely the benefit of that is enormous to Google, and probably a good advertising ploy.
I currently own a nexus s... (which i intend to use for modding etc, just for learning.... i no nothing at the moment,lol. and the very capable nexus 7.... but i so want the nexus 4.
I have even managed to convert 5 mates from iphone 4s, but to the s3, i,m so waiting to show them my N4

Well, of course everyone who wants one and is willing to wait will eventually get one. If anything, the first batch being sold out so fast will hopefully push Google to better stock it the next time it goes on sale in the Play Store

yeah...one only lives in hope...like me! Not only do I want the Nexus 4, I also want the Nexus 10 (actually two of them - one for my partner and one for myself). The only question is WHEN?

i just looked at google play store the 16gb of nexus 10 is available for purchase just saying lolz not 32 :-\ though personally the nexus 4 should suffice for me i have a asus transformer first gen need to use my warranty and get a new one lolz at best buy unless the nexus is there will debate what new tablet i'll switch for if they let me that is lolz

From the looks of things...I doubt we will see preorders from Google for the Nexus 4! This is basically just like the Nexus 7 release all over again, probably worse!

There are 2 ways to look at this...

One is that Google is enjoying this pandemonium about the Nexus 4 and in they're eyes the more craziness and demand, the better!

The 2nd way, the way me and probably a lot of other people who have dealt with Google before feel like... This is just Google being Google! And in actuality they are not as well put together as a lot of us would like to think...meaning they are just not built for this type of release, and are very short staffed and unprofessional to a certain degree. And honestly this is nothing new. I went through hell with both my Nexus One order years ago, and then hell again with the Galaxy Nexus, and now here we are with the Nexus 4. One would think a search giant the size of Google would have they're stuff together, but sadly they really don't in my eyes.

So it basically just comes down to the luck of the draw when trying to snag one of these Nexus 4's. And in my opinion Google is definitely no Apple when it comes to really handling a release the right way. This release is a black eye towards Google IMO, and it just shows how far behind Apple they really are when it comes to dealing with consumers.

I just bought an 8 GB Nexus 4 off of Ebay for $519!!! That is over $170 more than I would have paid with shipping and tax from Google. But I need a phone ASAP (long story).

I tried for over 5 hours to order one on launch day. I will probably receive it by Wednesday. I am not happy but I was in a bind.

Google, I am not very thrilled with your "launch" skills. I am not usually this guy but I think Google needs to make it up to people somehow. Whether it be through a Google store credit for apps or a free case or something.

This was a cluster F**k of a launch.

I'm afraid of the next batch being sold out even faster since demand and word of mouth has brought forth new customers that want the N4. As much as I want it, I'm not going the eBay route.

Google had better do it right this time and let everyone who visits actually get one and not get a back order notice. Selling out so quickly twice would look good from a sales point but would be an insult to customers.

Like I said, if my phone wasn't deceased I would never over pay like that. I almost bought a brand new S3 for $500 but I really wanted a Nexus and the difference was only $19 between them so I bent over and grimaced.

Google really had a intimate relation ship with a K9 on this launch. If you get my drift ? :thumbdown::thumbdown:

The nexus 10 was showing a sold out... no stock message in the UK playstore, so perhaps (wishfull thinking on my part... the nexus 4 will be put on a pre-order basis as well).
