Not really-499 is a good price for a Galaxy S3.

100 off is excellent.

299 if Wirefly is for real (refurbs maybe?-still OK ) is a
Great price for one if the top 5 phones in the World.

Common your losing 200 dollar plus tax just in two weeks, if it was two months and they lowered the price, I wouldn't mind, but damn just after we buy the phone they slash the price. Not to mention the waiting hell we suffered.

Damn...even I got screwed over...and that's after waiting a week after launch to buy it from wirefly for $499 flat...plus sold my Esteem for $160.

But not that surprised. Good things always come to those who wait. It's alright though...I don't regret having owned the phone for over a month. $300 is a damn steal though...you'd have to be insane to not buy this phone now

I did warn all of you in that original S3 thread though about the insanity of having to be the first one to get the phone. Hopefully you learned your lesson this time...and I bet it's pretty painful for some of you heh

The same time metro had the GS3 for $499 Walmart was selling the no-contract T-Mobile version of the GS3 for $650. I saw it in the local Walmart.

Funny, I'd just read a blurb about the G4 and was thinking this very question when I read this post.

Yeah, 3/14 is The Day but it ain't The Day at Metro. :( It doesn't matter What's Out if we Can't gedit. :D I would say that as well as the G3 has done Metro should sure consider the G4 but I also haven't heard even one word that way from any of our undercover Metro peeps here.

I'd guess Mother M's bottom line on the S3 is the $399 they sold it for on sale. I'd guess that's what it goes to soon after Metro Announces getting the S4 when and IF that happens.

Maybe a better question is what happens to the Motion price on 3/4? I'm SWAGing it goes to $99.95 without rebate.

i dont see the price changing much on the sgs3 for a while. metro doesnt seem to understand pricing IMO.

you have a 1GHZ single core as the third most expensive phone, and it came out ages ago. the 4th most expensive phone is another lg device that uses a dual core cpu that sucked back in 2011 let alone now... yet somehow the spirit is worth less to them (i skip the sgs3 and lightray as we know the sgs3 is worth the price, the lightray could be argued due to some stupid idiotic move of putting in a tv tuner etc...)
