How do I make custom widgets using uccw?

hi.
I'd like to know how people make custom widgets using uccw. I want to make (for example) an image of a clock in photoshop and then use it in uccw. How do I do that? What size must the image be and how to I open it in uccw?

What I was thinking of doing was 3 (circle) gauges, one showing time, the other weather with the battery status as the outside circle and the last one a circle menu (if possible) allowing me to launch apps such as camera, facebook and so on. Hopefully you know what I'm talking about.

What I don't understand is how you can make a clock in photoshop and then make it work in uccw, or a battery circle for example.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm new to this sort of stuff (making icons, widgets and so on).

Thanks in advance

thanks, so easy once you know how to do it (the fonts I mean).

Here's what I've managed to achieve, I'll add a weather widget when I find something I like. I want to keep it relativity clean. I'm not 100% happy with it, not sure why tho haha, ah well, I love playing around with my nexus.

Oh, my navigation bar won't go transparent for some reason :( I found a hex code online for transparency and it worked for a while but every so often it will go back to black. I used to be able to go back into the settings and just select the transparent color again but it's not working at all now.
