hello again guys!!

so i was wondering if you all experience it as well... there seems to be a bit of a lag when you press a power button on the side to turn the screen on... im comparing all this to my nexus so to me the lag is very obvious.... its like not a sudden response... i sorta noticed this some apps as well... when you press something to open it takes some time... not a LOT of time, but you can see the millisecond thinking process

another one... the bar on the top where you can see time, etc... can that colour be changed? that black stripe looks so rough against a light background

then, the SMS icon is an... envelope???? so confusing and looks identical to email icon... any way to bring back the cute smiley face i used to have on my nexus??

and again... any way to chance colours for the SMS bubbles? what odd and weird combinations.

why are MULTISHOT pics saved on the device.. and anything else on my SD card?

this is it for now.... more to come im sure lol

thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!! :))))))))

ps. everything is STOCK

I cannot answer most of your questions, and but the only color combo selections for the SMS chat is under the SMS app setting -> Bubble Style. The selections are very limited.

thanks... yeah ive seen them, thats why im posting... would be nice to choose your own colours and not get stuck with those odd selections... maybe non-stock app has better layouts hmmmm

Go SMS is very customisable with many themes. I don't know if you can change home screen and dock icons using Touchwiz. Most of the launcher replacements allow you to do so.

launcher replacements? sorry, lol, talking to a semi-n00b here :)

These are some of the most popular launcher replacements:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/...sMSwxLDMsImNvbS50ZXNsYWNvaWxzdy5sYXVuY2hlciJd

https://play.google.com/store/apps/...51bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5hbmRkb2VzLmxhdW5jaGVyIl0.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/...wxLDEsImNvbS5tb2JpbnQuaG9sb2xhdW5jaGVyLmhkIl0.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/...1bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5nYXUuZ28ubGF1bmNoZXJleCJd

These all allow you full customizations for the User Interface without needing to root the phone or load a custom ROM. It doesn't necessarily replace all of the Samsung TouchWiz User Interface (as some of the functions are still available), but does allow for further customization. Depending on which you go with, some of those actually end up losing Samsung's TouchWiz Widgets. For me, that's not a big deal, but some people have gotten used to using those.

Before you download any of those launchers, I highly suggest downloading either of these:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/...xLDEsImNvbS50d3NpdGVkYXBwcy5ob21lbWFuYWdlciJd

https://play.google.com/store/apps/...SwxLDEsImNvbS50ZXNsYWNvaWxzdy5ob21lc21hY2siXQ..

Those apps will allow you to switch back and forth from the different launchers, if you decide to download multiple ones and just keep the one that suits your needs the best.
