The END OF THE WORLD!!!

You should all know that Jupiter is in the 11th hour, the end is upon us!

(IE: it's now December ;) :p )

Now, from time to time, I'll watch shows like Doomsday Prophesy or whatever it's called, well, there was this one guy who they talked about on this show....

He was a fairly accomplished prophet (I think he was from the south?)... and he said that the key to preventing the end of the world was buried under the sphinx's foot... Well, a few years later, an team went to investigate and found that there was a chamber underneath the foot!

Egypt's government banned them from digging any farther... it was also thought that the key to saving the world had to do with the missing key stone from the top of the pyramid....

I don't know much about all this, but, it's interesting enough, and I thought that some of you guys may be interested in this little tid-bit of speculation that I recalled.

:D :p

Edgar Cayce, charlatan.

You know that no such chamber existed right, and that was made up?

And that the claim was that it was found using remote viewing - in other words, closing your eyes and picturing things from far away?

And that you can find this yarn being sold at Barnes and Noble on the SCIENCE rack?

Hope this helps -

Also -

Then we have these people -

That last one is especially convincing.

Evidently, the secret chamber under the Sphinx looks exactly like the inside the Great Pyramid, in the parts accessible to tourists.

Clever of the ancient Egyptians to do that, even more clever that the apocalypse gang got the underground all dried out. ;)

Life on other planets? Yes. Chambers under the Sphinx? Yeah. Not so much. Sorry.

Was that last one a trailer for a syfi channel movie lol?

Visit the youtube page. Some organization of believers put that up in hopes that those "scientists" could be found.

My favorite parts were the hieroglyphics readings and the initial shaft entry - where no one had been before. After they walked up to a door.

Plan 9 From Outer Space quality. :)

Isn't just them - Fox hosted that stupid show about the moon landing being faked.

I would believe in secret passages with Egyptian artifacts - but only as defenses against tomb looters.

There is also a matter of precession. The skies over Egypt then were not the same as now - Thuban was the pole star, not Polaris. So if predictions are based on old astrology, they can't possibly be right. Even the first point of Aries where the sun crosses the ecliptic is in Pisces. It moves roughly one degree in seventy years - so that has changed also since the Mayan Empire.

Hmm... good to know early...

I figured that seeing it on the History channel meant that there must be some backing to it....

If that show was a wikipedia page, it would be in need of a citation. ;) :p

If it was on the History Channel, that means the end of the world already happened, and I missed it.
That's Ok, I'll download the bootleg movie of it.

A.Nonymous and Stuntman are both from Canadia? Unlees you two are from midwest US.
You gave it away with "pop".

I've been trying to stop calling it that for years. I just can't call it "soda", or "coke" like they do in the south.

I'm from Canada. I did live in Ohio for a couple of years. I'd think my spelling of litre would give it away.

If the world ends who will make all those killer ROMS I have still got to flash that haven't been made yet? who tell me tell me now!!! That settles it the world will not end in fact just to make people mad its going to continue for at least another hundred years :p

......I think the Mayans predicted a few new ROMs after the end of the world.

You have to look on the Calendar, the little dots are ROMS.
