D3 Warm Boot Feature?? or app?

I probably should not be as interested in long uptimes, but I am. I do not like to have to do battery pulls, or power downs. However, there are times a decent warm boot is desirable. We used to be able to do alt-ctrl-del and get a warm boot, but no longer. Does anyone know a key sequence or an app, even, that will do the trick? In my D1 and D2 experiences, I often had between 60 and 90 days of up time. With the D3, the most I have had is 31 days.

If you are rooted, there are plenty of apps that can restart the phone. Quick Boot is the one I like best.

But, you do need to be rooted to initiate a restart by app.

I will definitely check this one out. I have never rooted, but have noting against it.
