Hello everyone, yesterday I bought myself an android tablet. This was my first tablet ever. Right out of the box I notice that there is a dead pixel on it. This doesn't bother me but what really scares me is that it might spread. Also, when I'm watching yiutube in ''hd'' , it gets like five frames per second and the audio is really off. Its flawless if I turn hd off. My tablet is the 7'' lenovo ideatab. 512 mb ram, 8gb storage. I can still rrturn it, but it would be a longndrive . Will the dead pixel spread? Is there a fix for my youtube lag? Or is my best bet just to rrturn it?

Return it and get yourself a Nexus 10. Or if price is an issue grab a 16 gb nexus 7. Can't beat it for the price. ;):D
Also only 512mb of ram? That's not much for a tablet. What android version is it running?
Honestly though return that p.o.s. and get a quality android tablet. Yea you will pay more, but you won't deal with the issues that plague a lot of the cheaper/low end/not so great manufacturers tablets. If you're going to invest in a tablet you may as well get a quality one.
:D

I have icecream sandwich 4.03 and my budget was $150

Geez no need for the eyeroll smiley. I was just being honest and trying to help. If you are already have a problem with a brand new tablet imagine what problems could come along down the road. If you don't want people's opinions/help then don't post a thread asking for it then  them when they reply.

You can get the 16gb nexus 7 for $199 and it's a beast! Quad core, 2 gigs of ram, jelly bean, etc, etc.
Would make the tablet you have now look like a dumb phone.

Turns out it's not available by my location, and if I order online with shipping and taxes its about $260 in total; too much for me. Also, I returned my tablet and got the same version, no dead pixels, but youtube is still laggy. I saw on the store model youtube was flawless, i'm not sure what I am doing wrong?

How fast is your internet speed? If it's on the slow side, then that could make YouTube HD laggy.

Try doing a speed test.

Sorry for the really long reply, I get 25mb down and 5mb up. I don't think it's my download or upload speed. Anyways, I went out to a local future shop and saw the samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0, for sale for $150. It was sold out so I asked for a rain-check receipt and in 3 days I can come and pick one up when they get new shipments. Is this a good tablet?
