Best signal smartphone on vzw?

Update called verizion they think i have a lemon sending me a refurb s3 .

When i called them i was on that rd working and it drop there call twice.

I have a feeling its gonna be much more of the same. I was talking to a co worker and asked where he was he was in a place where i cant get signal yet his dumbphone was working just fine.

So what do i do if i get the same results do i call vzw to see if they will swap me a dofferent phone? Or do i just sell the s3 and buy another phone?

Unless you guys have different suggestions im thinking motorola maxx hd or just the motto hd?

I agree with everyone that's saying Motorola. I've lined my Motorola smartphone up against an HTC Thunderbolt and an iPhone, and the Motorola always had better signal, even in the basement of my inlaws' lake house in the country in Wisconsin.

I've used both the RAZR HD and the RAZR MAXX HD. From the regular RAZR HD, I would get 36 hours of battery life. In my opinion, if you're on a budget, that phone is wonderfully awesome. The battery was never a problem for me.

If you have the extra coin, or need the additional internal memory (32GB in the MAXX HD, 16GB in the regular HD), or you are a super-user, then the MAXX HD would be your choice.

(oh, btw, I have my regular RAZR HD for sale currently here in our classifieds :) )

Personally, I LOVE both phones!

I think it depends when you got the phone and noticed the signal issue. If you recently (1-2 months) got the phone and noticed the signal issue and then the replacement has the same problem then I think you can pretty aggressively lobby for a different replacement phone.

I sucessfully had my Samsung Charge traded for a Moto Razr Maxx when a local tower "upgrade" suddenly had my battery discharging in under 4hrs due to search for signal. It took several polite but firm calls (which i documented) and then a written complaint but it finally happened. Good luck!

Does the motto razr hd have a place for an sd card ?

Update took my dads original razr maxx to work tonight.
60 mile stretch of rd 1 drop call i knew there was a deadzone though my #3 would drop 7 times on that rd.

Next rd 25 miles long 1 drop on razr s3 i would get 4

Next rd 55 miles no drops on razr s3 would drop 4 times

Now wed ill get my replacement s3 so i will test it out i have a strong feeling it will have same drops.
