Upgrade coming in January what phone to get

I get my upgrade in January for a new phone and trying to decided what phone to get next
Was thinking about the DNA but it doesn't have a sd slot. Is the S3 the way to go or should i wait for something else to come along early next year

I would definitely wait to at least feb when the new phones are announced at MWC, there is rumours of a new HTC phone with some seriously good specs, not sure if it's a new phone or our variant of the DNA but thats what I'm hanging on for.

The S4 will probably be released sometime in April and the New Nexus device will probably be around then as well, who knows

How are the nexus phones never hear to see to much about them but they are the flag ship of google. And honestly i would rather not get an S3 because everyone and their brother has one might have to wait for the S4. Just want to get something that will get updates unlike the bionic

If a DNA version came out with 32gb of mem then i would bite but as i have done away wity my iPod my phone is my primary music device 16gb aint gonna cut it

The nexus is absolutely your friend there. Speedy updates straight from Google. You'll always have the latest version of android

If you're going to stick with Verizon, then the Nexus 4 won't work for you. You'd have to go with a Galaxy Nexus ... and you don't want to do that.

The Nexus is a fantastic phone, amazing value and updates quicker than any other phone. It has sold out twice in my country. The 16gb cap on it puts me off a little but think it's about time I started looking into this cloud business more seriously for storing photos etc.

And yeah I plan on sticking with Verizon because of my grandfathered unlimited data

I just saw on pulse today about the HTC One X+ which if on verizon could be an option

Semi-sarcastic. The Verizon Galaxy Nexus is not a true Nexus phone. Verizon put their apps on it and delays updates. It's been a disappointment to many of the current owners looking for a true Nexus experience.

I thought I saw somewhere that Verzion is offering the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.... If they are, I can tell you that would be the phone I'd have.. Given that the $$ allowed it. I went with an s3 just because the $$ was not there to go with the Note2 in my case, but had I been able to spend the money, the Note2 would be in my hands.

That being said, even though everyone already has S3's, I gotta say I really do love this phone.

friend at work finally ditched is iphone and got a note 2 and wow that thing is huge (phasing) i tried using it and there is no way I could operate it with one hand.

Really looks like the only options right now would be an S3 or a Razr maxx hd at the moment. just have to wait until after the first to see what comes out

as long as the bionic keeps ticking that would be the plan. would be nice if motorola would get my jelly bean update out soon though
