Help S Planner & Calendar apps reset settings on phone restart

Every time I restart my Samsung Galaxy Note II, I discover that S Planner and Calendar apps lose their customized settings and have been reset to their default settings.

Yup. I mentioned this on the issues thread as well. I've been trying to figure out if there's a way to save the settings, but no luck troubleshooting so far.

I'm hoping to find a solution because I have multiple batteries that I just swap out with whenever the phone is low on battery, rather than charging the phone via USB.

Upon advice I removed Google calendar app and now my settings stick!
I use s planner these days any way as you can move around and resize events like on desktop Google calendar

Yeah, it was such a weird thing I had discovered.
