Hi everyone got a s2 tab 2 7 and 10.1 however I have now JB on the p3110 which has a tool bar and a non moving search bar at the top reducing the available screen height for browsing and looking on Flickr etc which I do not want for my p5110 how can I stop the update reminders and stay with ICS for the tab 2 10.1

Unfortunately, I believe the only way to block an OTA update reminder is with root. Have you tried using a homescreen replacement like GoLauncher, Nova or Apex and see if that helps?

What Dread has said below about blocking OTA updates is true. Unfortunately a root is required.
