Elago is just like the Rearth type. Lot slimmer than mercury. Basically no drop protection at all, lol. We'll see. I just want some grip.Oh yeah, forgot to mention, it has "twilight" sparkle touch lol!!! Just checked Elago, hmm, looks very similar to Mercury? Please drop a few lines how you like it once you get it?
Regarding Squaretrade, do you know what is their deductible? I have a few 30% off codes from black friday emails. I priced it for my wife's Nexus 7 and with a discount it was around $48 for 3 years. For Note 2 it's $95 with a coupon for 2 years, and they said its $99 deductible. Is that right? So, even if the screen cracks - only $99 deductible? Is that how you got it?
I like the fact that I'd be able to use my phone to protect me against bullets and as a life raft.

Don't like that I'd have to sew an extra giant pocket into my coat to carry it.
I purchased the Samsung 4 pack of Galaxy Note II cases and three of the four cases did not fit correctly. No matter what I do, I cannot get it to snap closed on the top left (above the volume rocker button). This causes the top of the case to be angled and not lie flat. The ORANGE cases fits perfectly and I love it. I wanted to switch to the Blue or Black but they just do not fit correctly.
Anyone else have this issue? It is weird, I can get the case on but it just does not snap in that one spot. This causes the cover to be at a 30 degree angle and it does not lie flat.
I don't think it can be user error since the orange one fits fine. I contacted Samsung to see if they can send a replacement for 3 of the 4. These are all official OEM cases from Samsung.com
HELP!

Yah, ST is like a $99 deductible for any damage (even H2O!). However, I think you can get it thru costco and have a $25 deductible. I'm still looking into it. The dude also said instead of the deductible, you might be able to repair it locally and they'll just pay for it and not even worry about the deductible (saves on shipping and their work or something). I'll keep researching.

There's nothing wrong with the cases. They're made that way.
Pinch 2 fingers together and take them around the sides of the back door. Press tightly- you won't break anything.
As you do this you'll feel it snapping into place. Keep going around til you're done.
After a while you'll get faster at it. When I swap batteries I can get the cover completely back on while the phone powers back up at the same time.
Now go enjoy your flip covers.
In the meantime I'm moving this to the accessories thread.
I still think some are defects. They will NOT clip in above the volume rocker. I Started to pull the small tab up as it appears it was flattened and that helped slightly.
Thus, my Orange fits great, the blue one is ok/acceptable now. The black one snaps on good, but it is almost like the fabric is too short on the bend and the cover stays at a 30 degree angle. I Suppose I could put it on and try to break it in by leaving it face down over night.
I know I am putting them all on correctly.
Now, I just have to put my white one on EBAY since I have a grey phone. I wish they would've put the Lime Green one in that 4 pack.
Homeboy is fighting hard to preserve boobs. I can not think of a nobler cause. He shall not lose a man card on this one.Not afraid to get in touch with your feminine side huh....
Worthy cause nonetheless.

Finally had a chance to use the stand.
Didn't like it at first but that's my own fault.
Pull the stand out until you hear it click.
I wasn't doing that and it kept tilting over.
I cant answer the Nova question but in regards to pocketability with this case-Scanda, I think I'd like to get the case you got based on your review of it. I wear suits daily and wonder if I could still slide my N2 into my dress shirt pocket? Is the case thin enough for that? And, would it slide easily or would there be too much friction?
I have another question NOT related to the case thread but thought I saw you in the launcher discusion and thought you may have an answer.
I am using NovaPrime Launcher and thought there was a way to keep the homescreens clean by hiding them. I saw a picture in someone's thread where there were just 2 little lines (like standing up hashmarks) on the homescreen just above the dock.
All you had to do was tap that icon and the stuff on the screen would appear again.
Is that possible on Nova? Or, was it a different Launcher?
Now THAT'S what I'm talkin' 'bout! I match everything! It matches my Asics gel resolution tennis shoes
