Hello fellow Androiders!!!

Since seeing this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1998133 and realizing with it you can make most apps multi view apps, I have been considering rooting my Galaxy Note tablet. I've tried doing some research about the benefits/disadvantages of rooting the tablet, but have not found much.
So, I thought I'd ask here.... have any of you rooted your galaxy note? What are your thoughts? What rom did you flash? What changed on your tablet? Any issues with rooting? Did rooting wipe all of your data and apps on your tablet?

I've rooted multiple phones, but am a little more nervous to root a tablet. Any thoughts, info, opinions would be very helpful!

Thank you! : )

First off, welcome to AndroidForums!

To answer your question, rooting does not wipe any data on the tablet at all. And while I have not rooted a Galaxy Note 2, I can tell you it work for my Tab 2. The rom I used is available OTA via another download site. As far as rooting goes, its opened up a lot of possibilities for me :car: :vroam:
