Acer liquid E stopped recognizing 16gb sd cards

I have had the acer liquid e and 16 gb sd card for two years now. I have had problems with the phone before but all got fixed. Yesterday I was playing a game when it froze, so I turned the phone off and pull the battery out. When I turned it back on it said "checking for errors" on my sd card then it said "sd card safe to remove". I tried mounting it it does not work. It does work in my computer. I copied my info from it to my computer and formatted it fat32. Then put all my info back on it and still it does not read it. I tried my 16gb sd card from my camera and it does not read that one either but it will read a 1gb card. Why?

Hello TerraCeleste. Welcome to Android Forums. Your SD card obviously encountered problems when your game crashed. Formatting the card is the fix. You should put the card in your phone and have the phone format it. This will likely fix your read error. I hope this helps. Thanks for joining Android Forums and I hope you enjoy your time here.
