Interested to see what new features they release and if any of them are innovative or things that Android can already do. I actually hope they have some cool new features to give Android something to live up to...competition always sparks innovation and growth. I'm also interested to see...if they release multi-tasking and make it available for previous iPhone generations...how the older hardware will handle it.

Even though i will never use an apple product. And i am android for life.

I still like the technology world. And a lot of people will have to admit that if it wasnt for the iphone. The smartphone market wouldnt be what it is today.

Just relax people.

You just need to watch and see what apple does. If it is something good. Then you have something to look forward to in Android!

This has inspired me to write my own apple rant. Personally I hate apple and what bothers me the most, is no matter what apple releases.. odds are it already exist right now on the market.

but, *many* consumers are going to act like apple is the first one to come out with it. Even now certain people don't realize there are phones that can do anything the iphone can, and better.

Minus their ad platform, it looks like all of their new features are complete take aways from Android. Not surprised though.

We'll see how Google responds with their next major update

Not exactly... it's bundled the same way a Google AdSense ad is now in your app. Just instead of having to increase the size of the app to include the 60kb library, that library is stored within the OS.

It's basically a space saving technique. I do like the idea of interactive ad's though. Google will fix that pretty quick

Unlinke Apple forums, as much as I hate Apple and their Drones, you can post apple stuff here and ruffle a few feathers but the discussion carries on, try that at an Apple Forum and announce Google has a new Android coming out or something along those lines, the drones come out with pitch forks all flames on, the iphone 4 is coming out with a face front camera pretty soon the fan boys will claim apple has done it again, I have had front face cameras for a few years now on Nokia's, I do give apple its credit, they have changed the smart phone market, not invented just made it more noticible , and thats a good thing,

Sometimes i wish the Android forum don't allow all the apple post here as well but its so true the apple forums don't post anything android on their sites.but its

Probly the main reason there's no Android talk on Apple forums is because they've never heard about Android. It's all about marketing, Apple does it and Google hasn't done much of it for Android. The only Android phone people have even heard about is the Droid. And most people think it's a standalone phone and not an OS used by many phones. Even people who own the Droid don't know about Android. I saw a guy on these forums asking about his Android phone. I asked him which Android phone he had and he told me it's the Android by Motorola, it's got a big touchscreen and a slideout keyboard.

While most may hate Apple, it's hard not to give them thier props. The BEST product is not always the hottest seller. You can sell millions of a mediocre product if you have the right marketing team.
