Guys
Yesterday I bought a new Note lte in Hong kong Airport from a large electronics outlet and was told that the phone was unlocked for any country
I put a new SIM card in the phone today and for the first 3 hours I could not make any calls (emergency alls only) then while driving to the Samsung dealer in Malaysia all of a sudden the phone started working..........I could make calls send SMS surf the web, all good
Then after about an hour of that and on the way back home it started playing up again and I have not been able to send or receive SMS or make phone calls even though I have a full signal showing next to the battery.
I called Samsung customer service and they told me that they do not cover international Samsung phones only Malaysian bought phones.........what's with that???
Anyway I guess I am in a bind right now as Hong Kong is to far to go to get my money back and Samsung Malaysia aren't going to help either.
Any suggestions what I can try next ?? I did do a factory reset but same same full bar signal but not able to make or receive calls
