Duracell Battery

Hi everyone, i don't know if it's the right section (first time i post here).

I was wondering, is it bad to use duracell on the go charger? can it harm my lg nexus 4 in any way?

If the charger is been build for this kind of batteries AND has a 5V output, then it'll charge your phone without harm.

But why do you want such a kind of charger?

It worked fine on my samsung galaxy y, and I need it for when i travel long distances by bus or underground, i get bored and play some games that drain loads of battery, so it's nice to have it always charged:smokingsomb:

Well, the battery capacity of the Nexus 4 is about 75% bigger than the Galaxy Y's.

So, for a full charge of the Nexus, you might need more than one set of Duracells

There has been a ton of external batteries on sale lately for the holidays like the anker or ravpower powerbanks. They seem to have a ton of reviews for the products. Don't think it'll harm your nex 4 since these chargers are meant for on the go charging. At least for the one I have it has made my phone battery worries disappear. I have a ravpower 10,000 mah one which can charge my phone many times before i need to recharge the battery charger again. Check out the reviews. Love this thing.

Which phones have you tried your powerbank on?

Just my galaxay s3 and my wife's iphone. It didn't come with an adapter for the iphone so we're just using the cable that came with the phone. It works for my kindle touch too and I'm going to safely assume it will work with most mobile devices except laptops or mobile devices since they tend to need to draw more power in order for their charging sensor to kick on. Not sure, correct me if i'm wrong.

i may have to get one of these. I came from a non-smart phone with awesome battery life. Not use to charging 1-2 a day.
