Waiting for AT&T to push Multi-Window Update Today...but first, a question...

I just applied the MultiView Update from AT&T. Although its advertised as "OTA" - just to be clear, it requires a Wi-Fi connection to install.
Good so far.

After I first checked the availability of the AT&T Update on my Note2 at 7:00pm this evening pacific time, I actually declined to update. and then after some time researching online with my main PC, later I was able to successfully install the update after it requested I connect to a Wi-Fi network.
It took about 15 minutes for the update to download, then it prompted for a reboot, then it took about 5 minutes to apply the update, and (may be coincidence) several of my 145 installed Android apps were updated to be compatible with Android 4.1.2

Anyone notice that the continual launch screens for the S-Pen and Headphones are no longer there after the update? So when I used to remove the S-Pen an additional home screen would appear with s-pen apps, and when I used to plug in headphones a headphone home screen would appear. Is this just me? If not just me is it AT&T or Samsung?

Update: I am an idiot, had Page Buddy off.

Mine are still there after the update.

Mine are still working fine.

I'm with ATT as well. Checked for update, it was there, installed without a hitch. Unfortunately, the haptic feedback when I am using Messaging cannot be turned off. I've tried every trick there is. Rather annoying but not fatal. Googled it long enough to find out that other people are experiencing the same thing and that a solution is not available, short of reinstalling the update, which I am not inclined to do for such a small issue.

I did the AT&T OTA upgrade around 6PM yesterday and it went through smoothly, albeit slowly. The whole process took a solid 40 minutes or so.

On a different note (pun not intended), WiFi stopped working after the update. It's stuck on "obtaining IP address" and it will not connect.

After playing with the multi view for a few minutes, I am not 100% sure that it is something I would use. At least not just yet.

It seems to me like it would be easier to just swap tasks if there was something that I needed to check really quick.

Cool feature regardless and I am certain that in time I will find use for it.

For now I just wonder why the WiFi stopped working.
