Vibrate Mode Problems

Hello!

I own an HTC Desire Z and I'm having some problems with Vibrate Mode. It's not that I can get the phone into Vibrate Mode and then have the phone not vibrate...it's that I can't even get the phone into vibrate mode. Let me explain...

When I use the volume down key, it goes straight from the lowest volume to silent mode and can't do anything else. However, sometimes when I plug the phone in to charge and unplug it, Vibrate Mode will miraculously return. It seems to be completely random though.

Any ideas?

Have you checked your vibration settings? Is it possible you have vibration completely off?

Also, check the HTC Desire Z forum for help.

Thanks for the reply. I've been fishing around in there...maybe I should move this thread into there.

I can't seem to find my vibration settings. I can find my sound profile and everything. I even added a widget to my home screen that would under normal circumstances put the phone in vibrate mode. The phone vibrates, says vibrate the bottom of the screen, but at the top it still shows that it's in silent mode.

Vibrate was working fine (again) until I plugged it in to charge this morning.
