Root Pdroid for Rom #2?

I have rom #2 and have installed pdroid. I want to install the pdroid patch. Can I use the pdroid patch for broken out?

You could try but it's doubtful. Chiwen was the one making the aio scripts. He made a separate one for broken out and black plague so I'm gonna guess number two isn't any different.

Im running ROM #2 and I flashed the mod made for BO along time ago and it works fine, so yeah it works with #2. FYI, I used the mod tht had the throttle remover included. Here's the link (http://androidforums.com/showthread.php?t=579078)

The link for the Pdroid + Data throttle mod appears to be dead.

There is a working link for Pdroid, Smoothscroll and Data throttle removal, will that break anything in Number_Two or is it safe to flash?

nope all will be fine, the smoothscroll is actually already included so what is this pdroid thing? should i just include it in the rom..? would that be cool?

PDroid can be downloaded on Google Play and it pretty much lets you to set the private data your apps are allowed to use, but unlike other permission blockers PDroid supposedly doesn't crash any apps when you deny them access to certain data.

However in order to get PDroid to actually work, you need to patch the ROM you are using it on.

I think it wouldn't hurt to patch Number_Two to work with PDroid but whether or not to include the app in the ROM I'm not sure.

I definitely want the data throttle remover included in #2 if it hasn't been included already.

yeah maybe ill add the patch... cant add the data removal thing though because (for the esteem) it would only work for some people but slow down data for others... so it not beneficial for everyone..

yes please include the pdroid patch in the rom. that would be very cool . or if anyone can post a working link so i can patch it in myself that would be great too.

Well I'm not sure about all the ins and outs of it. The auto patcher wasn't working for me but I think you can push the 3 files or include them in the Rom. Anyways I'm kinda n00bish but all the info you need should be here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1357056 hope this helps. Oh by the way I'm on #2 1.6 and everything is sweet. BT pairing is working like a champ. I was able to get pdroid patched using the mod for broken out Rom but it has the smooth scroll and data throttle remover included. If you want to check that patch out I can upload it to drop box and give you a link. Thanks for your hard work.

haha i never made one.. someone else did, it's loaded with a bunch of stuff in build.prop, init.d and something else.. not sure if im going to implement any of it untill i get some good feedback.. i have my own version with some more fixes but im waiting to upload untill i know if i will add anything.. plus im looking into that whole pdriod thing...

Lol 1.7 was a typo on my part I'm on 1.6. I think I read about the 1.7 and got mixed up a lil. The 1.6 is sweet thus far.

lol i been poking around in motion forums.. but the truth is untill you guys get an unlocked bootloader it's still kinda unsafe for me to put anything out, specially since i dont own the device i would feel extremely guilty for bricking a device LOL.. but i do have something slighty put together.. just not sure if im happy with it or not :/..

as for now im struggling with an sg3 rom, dedicated to gettin it working lol

You could always add things or fix things later.

well unless im blind im not sure i know how to port this over unless i read through hours worth of code.. the method provided in link is only if building from source.. which we cant do that successfully with any lg phone lol so i may just release what i got LOL
