Root [CDMA] [ROM] - Evo 3D CDMA - PAC [OFFICIAL]

Finally updated. Got all set up today. On the updated 4.2 gapps and also bt 14.3. Didn't even check which version the flash came with but I saw that it wasn't overclocked so I flashed the latest. Haven't tested a lot but so far all seems well. I must say it looks like I am getting a way better wifi signal on this current setup. With pa it was always weak as well as the last two releases of pacman. Holding steady now! Will report any bugs I come across over the next couple days :D

Thanks for the Christmas present cmb!

CMB, still having the occasional reboot and lock up, and then last night out of no where my Avast started going crazy, the siren would come on saying my phone was lost, did it numerous times. I had to uninstall and then restore app and data, weird. There is simply something with the BT kernel that my phone does not like, I have never had any reboots with my phone prior. I did do a fresh instal, with full wipe and partition wipe also.

I will also restore to PA again today, as I want to see if that version turns my phone into vibrate when I turn my BT on. I did not check before as i had my old BT then, now I have the new Motorola one now.

Do you have stock kernel, I would be willing to try that with your Rom to see the end result, or maybe Anthrax.

Edit: just restored PA and BT does not go into Vibrate.

Don are you doing a clean flash? Are you overclocking or undervolting.? The rom comes with BT 14.3 but straight from bigwillygs repo and he has clock set to only over clock slightly at 1350 mhz there. Now the next build I am doing something a little differently. I build everything from source every time which I know a lot of devs don't believe in doing but I do it because things behave much better as all the linking from the compiler is already done with the rom build and not after the fact. This is my theory. Now with that said my next build I've opened up the clock speeds in the source by editing his defconfig and a little c in the kernel. I've also been thinking of releasing some builds with different kernels just for one audience (most likely over here) so we can choose a kernel for the rom that works best of all. So hopefully we will have either a solution or at least an answer to your issue. I have seen someone here or there with something similar happen but nothing consistent enough to put my finger on. Anyway more to come! I'm also thinking of trying my hand at a full pa build. A good chunk of this rom is already straight from PA, but there is also CM and aokp specific libraries. So I figure it wouldn't be too bad as I wouldn't have to edit as much as I already do and most can be reused. So first things first let's get this rom moving forward to the next release!

Yes, I am doing a fresh and clean install, full wipe and Partition wipe also. I did post the logcat above for the BT issue. Now, I went back to PA for now as I have had no issues or reboots at all, that is on BT 12.2 I believe. I know each phone is different, so I can imagine it being hard to pin point, like I said for a year and half I never had a issue which is the weird part. I did try the Mac Kernel, only because a member said he loved it and got it working, so I did not believe him so I flashed it to see, and I was correct I went straight into bootloops. I know there is a Mac kernel that does work, but not sure the version, I think Mazda is using it. let me know what you need me to do, I can run more logcats or anything I can help with let me know, I would really like to try with the stock kernel to see how it acts.

I am not touching the Kernel at all, simply flash the Rom and Gapps and set the phone up, no over clocking or under clocking, I left it as is to see, hope this helps, I had 2 reboots last night during phone calls.

Anyone else have any problems with wifi tether? Mine instantly force closes when trying to enable the hot spot.

Also don, i am Trying online nandroid that came with the Rom. I'm typing this as I'm making a backup. Pretty cool! And it doesn't actually store the backup online. It looks like it just goes to the sd card...

Also, I'm not 100 % sure but I think the backup is compatible with 4ext. So I think you could restore it from recovery, if you couldn't boot up...

OK, so ran it for about 3 hours and all was fine, then I got a call and got a reboot, so I guess it is not the Kernel, looks like there is something on this Rom that does not like my phone, I am open to opinions, of course I reverted back, FWIW I never got a reboot on PA if that helps CMB

You know. I don't make or receive calls much. I can't remember which version I was on when it happened but I just remembered that trying to answer a call rebooted my phone as well.

I have gotten reboots while uninstalling apps(happened 3 or 4 times the apps were side loaded so I figured that was the root of the problem) I only make calls via textplus and that's rare so I don't get those phonecall reboots like you.

I get the same thing. Un installing apps almost always causes a reboot. Reboots are fine though by me as long as the phone starts up. Reboots on PA used to force me to restore nandroid.

You see how amazing each phone is, I get absolutely no issues when uninstalling any apps or even when I sideload them and uninstall, my made reboots are usually when I am on a call. and the only other issue I have is as mentioned before it when I turn BT on it turns my phone into vibrate. On PA I never got one reboot, so go figure. I may load the new release later on today, and I will simply keep it stock for a day, meaning, I will not restore any of my apps, and then try to use the heck out of the phone and see if I get reboots. hopefully if I don't then I will restore all my apps and data and then see what happens

I would say E, What I would do is simply run the Locat in the background, then once you get your reboot, I would save the file once your back up on your screen, then post it for CMB.

Thanks so would my issue be error fatal or debug I'm assuming error I may go the adb route
