Fresh2.0d = 6 hours of battery life?

I have terrible battery life with the 2.0d ROM. I don't really know why either as when I look at the battery usage, everything is pretty low except for the Cell Standby. On that note, has anyone else experienced terrible signal? Cause, I am.

I don't have any audio issue that I am aware of. I havn't gotten any phone calls though either.

Well, the audio issue causes the CPU to be pegged so it eats through the battery pretty quickly.

Screebl was keeping my phone awake with 2.0d. Are you using that?

make sure you're not using SetCPU either...I imagine that'd really mess with battery life

perhaps do the radio update for the 2.x ROM's?

I know that radio update fixed my auto GSM mode issues, and now I'm down to 13% without signal with 6h 18m "time on" (75 hr uptime, 23 hr awake time). And chances are, I was indeed without signal for that 13% of the time lol

How close do you live to a tower? Because I usually only get about a bar or two, and have a -93 or less Dbm.

I'm unfortunately getting 6 hours on a battery with Fresh too.

I've tried everything
New radio, New PRL, Email Fixes, removed accounts re-added, reflashed several times, my original flash was after a full wipe

For the life of me I can't figure it out. Cell standby time is 50%

at first my battery life was horrible... then I configured autokiller for aggressive. then rebooted.. (I upgraded the radio as well).. now I get great battery life. after being unplugged for 19hrs 45min I still had 48% battery life.

make sure you configure autokiller and Reboot the phone

Did you ever get an error host unresolved: after you finished applying the tweak? I know that is for data/internet but, I don't know why it would need to access the internet after applying a tweak like that.

i found my battery life was pretty bad, then i went to settings/account and sync, and realized that my phone was updating gmail, contacts, weather and more every 3 minutes or so. go in their and change it to manual, or a larger interval of time. that helped me a lot

I don't believe it is possible to change the interval time. Only enable and disable it. As I just tried going through and pressing Menu to see if that opened up another option. It didn't.

I see it for weather, but not for anything else (facebook, gmail, etc)

ya thats right, i turned mine off, i figured i dont need facebook contancts syncing all the time, i can do it manually, along with the gmail, i kept my weather at 3 hours. it helped a lot though

Yeah, that is prolly the biggest reason why then. Sprint coverage is average or something to be desired in my area. We have complained over and over, they only want to sell us their Airrave thing, which I am not going to buy and spend the money on a service we are paying for.

honestly... if you get crap service.. the airave is worth the $99 and the $4.99 a month fee to get 6 bars of service (without it I get 1 bar at best.. or 1 bar roaming)

I have 1-2 bars roaming 1x service at my house. I need to go outside to be able to make a call. My phone can last 22-24 hrs with moderate use..25 emails, 25 texts, limited web surfing, some downloading. I am very happy with the batt. life. It sucks that some of you guys aren't benefiting from how good this rom seems to be...
