Micro SD or SDHC

Thanks all for the information. Went out and bought a 16gb SDHC class 4 card. Works fine (so far). I was just being a bit cautious cos I took a 8gb SDHC card out of my old phone, a Nokia 5800. When I tried it in my Galaxy Ace, didn't even see it. Tried formatting it on my computer, still no good. Good excuse to get a bigger one. The 8gb came free with the Nokia, they were about

New to android Got a Samsung Galaxy Ace. Came with only a 2gb sd card. Looking for a bigger one. Can I use a SDHC. I saw on the forum other people asking this question but they had other makes of phone. Not sure if it is a hardware thing or android thing.
TA

I just pulled mine out... :/ and It's a 32gb class...6. Even though Ive never heard of a class 6. Don't know where I got it. It has a number 6 in a circle. Any who, a 32gb works fine in mine and has done for 6 months. The specs also say this.

That old Nokia card should have worked with the phone, did you try formatting it from the phone itself?

What I think happened is that i tried testing out the anti theft thing. I called it from another phone with a preset message that locked the phone and put a password on the SD card. I unlocked it on the phone but forget the password. plugging it into card reader on the computer, it could not see it. managed to format it but still no joy. The Nokia had a good satnav on it so I think I will put the card back in and download the ovi maps to the card and hope it will work without an internet connection.
