Trouble when connecting to my computer

When I plug my phone into my computer via USB, nothing happens. I don't get a notification although the phone charges which means it is plugged in. But as I said no notification so I can transfer things between my computer and my phone. Any ideas anyone? I'm running 2.1 V2 and this just happened as of today. It was working fine yesterday.

Download MountUSB app.

Even though you don't have the notification it should still mount it.

have you tried to going into menu-settings-and it should say connect to pc... see if that helps.. usually when you connect the usb cord it should read it right off the bat.

settings>Connect to PC>Defult connecton type
and if you want it to ask you every time. click the "ask me".

although on second thought if you get no notification then your usb port is not attempting to communicate so the phone thinks its a car charger. check your system settings in your OS.
