Searching for best audio quality android phone of all new phones that released lately cuz i am gonna sell my s2 and i dont care about price and please dont post that all phones are same all u need is eq an just good headphone. Yea i have good solo bose headphones but i am 100% sure quality of circuts and other chips jacks and speaker placement and quality affect sound alot too and by asking for sound quality i mean loud speakers of phone too. Also i need it to be one of new android phones in market with good specs, features n quality but mainly focus on sound (not just the bass boost but clarity n sharpness of all sound too). Please if u are not sure of the device u gona suggest better dont post cuz i need the best, really the best.it would be great too if the suggested phone gets as much as possible regular updates of android. Also got 2 questions
1. Htc onex+ the beats is really just an eq adjustment software or they have any hardware that added related to beats or even speakers and chips and with audio engineering point of view cuz that what beats website says

2. S3 with voodoo enhance loud speakers too or just headphones? does galaxy note 2 have wolfson or work with voodoo? If not what is note 2 chip brand tho and what i can use that can be as good as s3 with voodoo exactly and have same options of voodoo?

Thanks in advance,

@ digital controller, i am so glad that u moved it to better section for more replies cuz lots of ppl out there search for same thing and maybe this post can help much cuz u know no one now dont love listening to his favourite genre of music in great quality with his phone so trust me that will be helpful for lot more people

@people who are helping that is so much appreciated but for me i dont want iphone cuz i got ipod touch 4g and had 3g and like need new thing so imma head to android but i prefer not samsung cuz i got s2 now and tbh i dont like its sound quality plus samsung dont deliver updates regularly to old phones i know its not samsung only that does that but i guess there is better but if its the best of sound quality and specs fair enough i dont mind buying s3

Please guys try to answer the 2 questions that i asked in first post about beats audio in htc and voodoo and s3 (wolfson) i mean by sound quality is speakers and heaphones not just headphones.

Btw what is the best model nowadays in terms of sound quality and specs of Sony Xperia? And is it better than htc one x plus and samsung s3 and note 2 of speakers and headphones?

Thanks in advance,
Maxwel1

Waiting still for replies and suggestions, guys
I use Beats on the HTC One X and EVO daily through head phones or Bluetooth. It's the best sounding phone over ever had.. I have owned iPhone 4 & 4S, HTC phones and Sammy phones. Hands down HTC. Beats gets a little bass-y sometimes. I cannot comment on Sony phones.

This is my last question that will help me alot:

Htc one x plus better or s3 / note 2 with voodoo/stweaks in terms of sound quality atleast for headphones ? Which sound better? (btw dont compare it with one x cuz they said it sound worst than one x plus on gsmarena )

i know that beats audio just an eq but they said on thier website that they get involved in choosing everything related to sound in the products they work with like hp and htc like quality of jack, chips and circulatory ad placement. So if that true it dont matter if beats audio thing is just eq or not as they gave quality on other hand too.

Thanks alot and please reply me cuz that is what gona make me take the disicion

Doubtful you'll get more responses by repeated prompting like that.

Personally, if music accuracy and fidelity is so important to you, that using EQs and such to make your phone acceptable is... well unacceptable... then you need to look at an audio site for input on studio quality portable music devices.

Oh, and I'm not aware of Beats Audio doing much in terms of picking the hardware (I think that is mostly lip service). The only company I know off hand that brow beats manufacturers is Lucas' THX. Not many devices get their approval.

As a side note, that'd be cool if they came out with a new Droid R2-D2 phone that was THX certified (especially now that they have multiple THX certification levels, it should be easier).

Just to confuse you a tad more, Apple products (in general) have very good DACs and amps, comparing to other devices.

So, solely basing this on audio quality, the iPhone.

OR you could get a dedicated audio player, like a Hifiman or even the iPod Classic models (4th gen and earlier). They have great Wolfson DACs, which is much better than most phones/computers/devices pack. (The Hifiman has a Burr-Brown DAC, I think. Still really good.)

Just my 2 cents.

@unc i guess apple dacs was good when it used to use wolfson before touch 4g which i got and i dont like much in terms of sound quality i read they use
instead logic circus which is worse than wolfson as i read and i can tell i dont like touch 4g that much too

Most of ur replies guys gives the wolfson alot of periority but i got ipod 4th generatoon and honestly dont need more apppe products not cuz its bad but i had 3g too before and like bored of ios and just got 1 android phone so need more android but as u all gather that wolfson the best i guess i need to give the shot to a samsung mobile. It sound the best dac all over portable devices and mobiles so guess a note 2 or s3 but i guess note 2 less popular and more special to carry so thanks alot guys :)

So true that phones wont give best quality or studio quality but my intention was finding the best out of phones for audio quality. Ofc audio is so important to me and would like that phones give more audio quality than what they offer now but i dont want to carry multiple devices daily cuz i cant pass a day without listening to music atleast at morning daily. So as i mentioned my intention was finding the best out of smartphones cuz i know none can offer that huge studio quality tho.

About THX Certification i wish the same even it wont be that high level certification cuz hardly a smartphone will get it but it will be so cool anyways cuz it will be trusted 100%

maxwel1,

Looks like you're already getting some good feedback here...

Please bear in mind and be patient with folks have that different schedules and are in different time zones (and also with this week being a holiday week for many), you might not get a flood of responses like you've been expecting.

Hope the responses you've gotten have helped you out...thanks to all of those that replied!

:)

Which location (usa, canada, europe) or more important which version fo the device (samsung makes many version of the same phone - such as galaxy s3 - dependent on market and some of them use different hardware (processor, dac, ...) dependent upon market).

I guess mine will be an international device cuz i dont live in Canada or US or even Europe, am i right? But what is more important, does the note 2 and s3 international version got the wolfson dac or not?
