Recent Converts, where to turn?

So I'm an obsessive gamer who always have to have ALL the platforms (OK, maybe not all...I didn't have a 3DO) - I feel like I never wanna miss anything.

Now that I've got my hands on the sweet sweet droidings, I'm kind of at a loss for where to turn.

I get all the iCrap and how to use it and where to do things, and I keep hearing how much more customizable and delightful Droids are...

I guess I'm most interested in doing all the things I couldn't do with my iPhone - which reminds me - does anyone know any good EXCLUSIVE GAMES that are DROID ONLYYYYY?!

Oh I guess I should specify, I have a Galaxy S2 Tablet!!!

I'm not sure of any android only apps (I'm sure there are some, I just don't know of them)...

If you're into networking, you can do some pretty cool (geeky) stuff with a rooted android device. You can use wifi analyzer to see near wifi networks and their strength (which is pretty cool).

Oh thanks! That does sound kinda neat!

I dunno about rooting my device... I'm not very confident with stuff like that. In my younger... more... scandalous days, I might be caught with an R4, but never a hacked PSP (if you get the implication). But those days are behind me and I'm on the up and up now... mostly...

I get that, rooting is a little scary, but it is on the 'up and up' 100%. It just gives you 'root' (administrative, super user) access to your device. For networking, this allows you to install applications that change the wifi mode (ie: promiscuous mode )...

I'm not 100% sure, but I think all users can have an avatar. It should be in the User CP (if memory serves me correctly) under something like 'avatar image' or something like that.
