I used the Nokia wireless pad, and rigged it up with a generic cell phone holder. It seems to work well.

My truck has a 120v inverter built in the dash, but you can get them for your cigarette lighter too. Ideally a pad that uses a 12V plug or USB would be nice.

Sorry for the pics, but I had to use my Nexus 7 front camera lol

i posted a vid the other day showing the plate being wired directly into a 12V (car/truck) supply. if you look on the back of the plate, it says it needs a 12V input, the charging brick steps it down from 110/120vAC to 12vDC, so theoretically this should work. just havent had time (or the cajones lol) to cut the connector off the end of my nokia cable yet.

nice work tho....

If that is the case, I may have an old 12v power adapter that has the same end. I had an old Nokia cell phone years ago - I bet they are the same. It all depends on if I threw it out in my last go-around.

Here is what I did today, it got it out of the window which is really nice. I forgot I had an old adhesive disc laying around that came with one of my Garmin GPS units.

tell me what I'm missing??? The idea of this is to be able to charge your DNA in a vehicle? Why not use the micro usb to cig lighter?
Also, I'm going to post this but why not ask here too...
Is there pdf or somewhere in the phone that displays what all the system icons are?

not sure if this screenshot is gonna work but, it points to the icon I'm wondering about.

Yes to wireless charge in the car, I don't like messing with the cover, and I don't want to rip it off as I work in harsh environments sometimes.

It's a convenience thing too, I just toss it in the cradle and it will charge. The cradle is connected to the switched 120V in my truck so I can just turn the charging on/off as needed.

Screenshot didn't work.
