So has anybody found a resolution to this. My original back cover became very creeky so I ordered a new one. It was fine for a month or so and then that one became very creeky. I called HTC and explained my situation. They had me send mine to them and sent me a replacement, well this one is creeky right from the start. I am wondering if maybe there is an issue with the molding of my actual phone and not the back cover... HTC is going to want me to ship them my phone and they will send me a replacement. Not sure I want to go that route??

picky picky..Welp in that case get use to the squeaking!! because thats about the only thing to do its the way the phones are built. (cheap)

:)... no, just personal preferance... Ya, I will just get used to it. I was just more curious if anybody found there was actaully a good resolution for it. Maybe if I complain to HTC enough I can get them to send me the HTC DNA... (That phone is just to big though)

Jamala I'm right there with ya. I don't want to use a case. I got this phone b/c I like the way it looks. My cover creaking is getting worse every day. Like you, HTC sent me a new back cover and it didn't help. I did buy a cover, just to see if it would help, and I could still feel and hear the creaking.

I think the creaking has something to do with the NFC antenna inside the cover, possibly pressing the cover out from the body of the phone, and also cheap/ imprecise moldings. I rigged my cover using two tiny pieces of scotch tape rolled-up and placed between the cover and the body. (I had to experiment with where to put the pieces of tape). This lessens the creaking for about a week or two, then I have to repeat the process. You might want to try that.

Your right, you have done exactly the same things I have. I bought a new cover, it worked for about 3 weeks, then started to creek again. Last I called HTC, they sent me a new one, and it creaked right from the get go... They said the next step would be to send the phone in. Well I know that will do no good. I believe it is just a poor quality molding. I am just going to live with it for now. I won't put a case on it, because I don't like cases. Just my preference. Good you found a solution that works for you...

Verizon finally replaced my phone (got the new one the other day). Of course mine had two other issues with the software, mainly it was not getting OTA updates. So I think if you have issues in addition to the cover creaking, they may consider a replacement. No creaking on this one yet. We'll see.

Yep, give it a couple weeks as said. I got a replacement a few weeks ago as well and the back cover is now creaky again.
