Help Remove kies air from Laptop

Every time I start up my laptop a popup asks whether I want to send a Kies Air message.

NOt only do I not want to send a message b ut want Kies Air removed from my laptop.

But the all the resulting file does is install USB drivers. IT DOES NOT uninstall Kies Air.

Can anyone please tell how to get rid of this software?

Uninstall Kies Air from the Control Panel... Then, install the DRIVERS for your Phone. Thats all you need. NEVER, EVER have Kies in your laptop.

Kies has already been removed some time ago, via Control Panel; opening Control Panel > Programs and Features shows a complete lack of Samsung applications.

If I connect S2 via USB cable to laptop I can read the phone; so even though I have not any Samsung drivers, at least none that show up in Programs and Features, some drivers must be present to enable the S2 to show in Windows Explorer.

Still Kies Air opens on start up. So where is the program coming from if not loaded or at least not showing Programs and Features?

Any more advice please?

Run | msconfig
Startup tab
remove related kies entries starting up. reboot if you need to.

KiesAirMessage C:\Program Files\Samsung\Kies\KiesAirMessage.exe -startup

"Blank" C:\Program Files\Samsung\Kies\External\FirmwareUpdate\KiesPDLR.exe

I am removing these two lines from System Config > Startup.

Also remove a Kies folder leaving C:\Program Files\Samsung\USB Drivers This explains where the drivers are; but not why I can't remove them vai Control Panel?

Removed the two lines; rebooted. All is well. Laptop can still read phone!
