GA10 Comming soon (Hopefully)

[ROM][ODIN][TAR]SPH-D710 GA10 (GA10 Modem/Kernel/ROM - Root/Stock)

the mirror1 link for nodata will take you to the repository from there click ROM_NoData. then you have the choice of rooted or unrooted

I would only do a no data install if you are already on FK23, FL04, or FL16 stock rooted.

Just a side note, there is a weird glitch/bug I'd call "caller id" bug, might want to read up on the bug in the last link posted by cb before you install. If you already know about it, disregard.
The said bug occurs when someone calls in while your on a call, you check who is calling in, and everything goes mute. That's what I get from the posts at least. It's been reported as a known issue.
Just fyi is all

From reading about it the sound goes mute but once the call is missed and passes on to voice-mail the sound comes back. I have yet to experience it, so I haven't had the chance to see about a workaround if needed. Overall, even with that bug being reported, the sheer performance of this ROM has made it well worth switching to it for me.

still on FK23 rooted. Do you guys recommend the GA10 and what are the improvements that they have made with the new update.

Codegerm,
so you`re telling me if i do the nodata one click i will not lose any of the apps of data?

will try after work if worth it!

I found it worth doing for me. The improvements I have noticed were in signal performance, and also some interface enhancements. Speed it also notably faster with the Antutu Benchmark at 10,319 without overclock.

The No data install works like an OTA (over the air) update. Your apps and user data will still be there. The only thing you will have to do is if you removed the bloatware before, you will have to do that again. If you are coming from the one click of FK23 , FL04 or FL16, you should be fine doing the no data one. I still recommend backing up stuff to a pc or sd card before changing ROM (it is a best practice to follow)

There is a fix for the 3way call bug if you use the call record mod on xda.
Also what I noticed on sprint roms is that when someone leaves a voice mail, boost users don't get a notification... Even with the visual voice mail....

I get the notification just fine and I am a boost user on a sprint rom. The visual voice mail is handled by Sprint not Boost

If someone leaves a voice mail you will not get a notification.I delete the visual voice mail app., but I should still get a notification when a voice mail is left, but to no avail I don't.

Are you talking about during the call? Alarms and notifications are turned off during call by default, but can be turned on under call settings (menu button from the dial screen).

Is this the best one click JB Rom out? I'm not wanting something with many issues. I'm just tired of knowing JB is out there and I don't wantr to wait any longer....but shhh my boss doesn't need to know...lol
And another question. When they do roll out the "official" update will it go through with this loaded?

Boost do have a jb rom but it not out yet, thread is on xda, but as soon as the sprint one drops I plans to do it threw Kies.

I like the one clicks of FL04 and the GA10 I am on now. Only thing I had to change on them was the server settings for MMS, but that was easy to do. You can also put the stock back on it if you find you don't like them.

No call blocking either, only thing I can think of is the fact that I deleted visual voice mail app. I still should get notifications for voice mail though.

Sound like something strange with your account. You should receive a text message upon getting a voice mail. That is how visual voice mail app works. It intercepts the text so it knows it has a voice mail message then it can poll the server and download it. If you have deleted it, you should still get a text.
