Help Urgent SD card help

Hi, So I had the warp, and i was using it and it froze like usual, so i took out the battery and put it back in. When it was on the booting screen for literally 20 minutes. I then went into CWM and flashed my ROM back cause i heard that was the only way to fix it. It worked and booted up properly but said my sd card was damaged. I have tried recovery programs to get my files off of it before i format it but everytime i try to use one on it,it says not responding.. When i boot my warp into cwm and go to install from sd the folders and directories are all still there. It is very important to me that i already get my pictures off of it before i format it because, well im a teenager and i lost my dad not too long ago and i had alot of pictures that ment alot to me.. So I dont want to even want to consider formatting as an option. Someone please help me recover them by any means that they have found or heard to work, other than using a program to retrieve them.

The only thing I can think of is to put the card in a usb reader and plug it into the computer. Retrieve them that way? Or a five in one reader for the pc/laptop?

EDIT: The computer should see it as just another removable drive.

EDIT: You can also try just plugging the phone itself into the pc/laptop turn on usb transfer, and the computer will see it as a removable drive. I transfer roms to the phone like this all the time.

I tried connecting it through the phone and pressing connect to pc, but it comes up as removable disk f, when i try to access it theres a green loading bar then it stops responding. Just like when i try to access it through a recovery program. And i have a sd card thing that i put my sd card in then put it in my laptop and still it does the same thing.

Do you have adb on your PC?

Edit - If so boot into CWM, plug into PC and load up command prompt with adb...type "adb pull /sdcard/" without quotes

If you don't have adb...get it and try the above steps lol
