Root I have rooted my tab but it seems to make little difference

I have been trying to get a ps3 controller to work with my galaxy tab 2 10.1, so first off I rooted it all easy enough as far as I could see although im no expert. Then I downloaded the sixaxis controller app from the play store however when I run this it brings up an error and says please ensure the drivers have permission from the superuser app.

I thought if an app needed permissions then there should be a prompt for this, also when I look in the superuser app there are no apps on the list at all, has my device been rooted properly? Or is there another problem?

You should download the RootChecker app from the Play store to confirm you are rooted. Your app, when first run or otherwise, should immediately prompt you for superuser or root permission, ONLY if it requires it. If it doesn't then it shouldn't ask.
