Hello

Maybe you have some ideas, I don't

I have this LG optima phone and when I start it up, all it does is show the LG start up splash screen for no more than one second.
It shuts off and then tries to restart again, over abd over!

I didn't root this phone. I have tried to power up by holding , HOME, Volume Down and power. to start a recover menu, that doesn't work ether.

Is there any way I can like Jtag the phone?

Try pulling the battery out and hold the power button down for 30 seconds, put battery back in hold home button down + volume down and power button down (all at the same time) keep holding until lg logo appears, then release. Now charge your phone in recovery for 30 minutes, take off charger, reboot, then fully charge phone.

Is your phone an optimus v?

What is jtag?

YES, this is a Optimus V

I have tried that dozens of times but it still will not get off that LG splash.start screen.
Any other ideas?

I've searched the forum for quite some time this morning ..
2 things i've found. 1. If your phone is less than a year old it is still under warranty, contact virgin and get a replacement.

2. This worked for a member, ( take out the battery and charge the phone without it, something will come on the screen like please insert battery which he did and the phone worked after that. )
What the heck, give it a try, couldn't hurt!
