Help Applications run from SD? Tip? Trick?

Please don't tell me that Windows Mobile 1 upped Android by not allowing to run apps from the SD!!! Please tell me there is a way to do it.

Any tips, tricks or depressing comments welcome!

Currently the answer is no. The assumption is that this will be developed either by Google or a 3rd party in the future.

Well I just hope they launch it before they launch the G2 .... that would be a classic Mac move.

You have already maxed out your applications space?

I would hope that if people start making larger apps. perhaps they can make the apps smaller by storing data/graphic and other files necessary for the app on the SD card somewhere...that would alleviate space if you could do that.

A couple apps I installed already DO use the sd card for data. Just data tho. One is Wordmate, I remember another one or two also do it.

yeah i've maxxed out my memory so many times already. I've been getting more and more pissed off that it won't let me use apps from the sd card. Also i wish it would save the browser and gmail data on the sd card instead of the the main memory. I also wish the browser would let me download other files online like mp3s and other files instead of just images.
