Hey guys,

It's my first time here and i received my new Hero (or T Mobile G2 Touch) yesterday so sorry if i'm asking a dumb question!

I put the micro SD from my old phone into the Hero and as it's full up i was hoping to transfer some of the files onto the phone using the internal memory, but i cannot find a way of doing this. Also now that the card is full i am unable to take new photos cos there is no space for them to be stored. Do i have to do something to access the internal memory?

One other thing while i'm here....how do i create new photo albums??

Thanks for any help you might be able to give!!
Sarah

Hi Martin,

I have a larger memory card which came with the phone so i guess i'll just transfer by PC as you suggested, good idea keeping internal memory free for apps.

I haven't been able to find a way to create a new album or to move images from album to album...hopefully there is a way...

Thanks for your help!

I created a new album by hooking up the phone to the pc with a usb.
Dragging down the notification bar at the top of the phone.
Click on mount button.. should open phone as a removable disk.
On PC Click on Open folder to view files.
Right click in that window and open a new folder.
Or open one of the existing folders and open a new folder in there.

Ive tried using OI File Manager and Linda as well, to move an MP3 from my card to add to the notification list on the phone itself but each time it just tells me that the file cant be moved. Anyone know how i can do it please?

Im new here, so an "Idiots guide on how to do it" would be great

What notification list ? that is not a folder //

One your SDcard create a folder called "Notifications"

so the a directory view of it will look like :
/sdcard/notifications

Move the mp3 Sound you want to use into that folder ...

Other folders that can be created are :

/sdcard/ringtones

/sdcard/alarms

/sdcard/ui
