Actually tkalfaoglu is wrong. You don't need to remove your card from your phone. If you put your phone in usb storage mode so the card shows up on your computer when you plug your phone in, MiniTools Partition Wizard can do all the operations needed on it. In fact, you don't even need to delete your existing partition, you can just resize your first partition to make room for the 2nd partition, leave all your files right where they are (though it's still a good idea to back up the card before you go changing partitions). I did this the other day with no problem on my ancient LG Optimus V and it worked w/o a hitch. It was so easy I decided to upgrade my puny 2gb card to a 32gb card today. I plugged the new card into a card reader, plugged my phone into my pc in usb storage mode and then used MiniTools Partition Wizard to copy the partitions from the 2gb card to the 32gb card and resize them on the fly. Of course, that didn't work quite right....MiniTools was able to resize the Fat32 partition on the fly, but no free tools I found could resize the ext2 partition on the fly, or even after copying. So, I procured a copy of Paragon Hard Disk Manager, which is probably the best partition manager around, and that had no problems copying/resizing my ext2 partition on the fly. Anyway, the short version of all that is, NO you don't need a separate card reader, all this can be done via the USB connection.
