Root Help, Admire softbricked (I think)

So I flashed CWM 5.0.2.7 with Odin onto my admire, and I keep getting the following error when I try to wipe ANYTHING
Formatting /data...
Error mounting /data!
skipping format...
Formatting /cache
Error mounting /cache!
skipping format...

etc etc etc.
When I attempt to reboot the phone, it gets up to the SCH screen, then pretty much stays on there. I can still access download mode and flash via odin, but I cant flash/access any roms.
Sorry if I'm being a total noob/posting in the wrong section, just looking for some help.

Restore a cwm backup that you made with 5.0.2.7 ...

you're taking them to a dead end. that link has been dead for weeks. if you really really want to go back to stock 2.3.6 then simply just go to the samsung website and use the update tool for our phone from there. you could stay on 2.3.6 but if you dont like it you could do this stuff: http://androidforums.com/admire-all...-cwm-backup-odin-returning-stock-2-3-4-a.html
or you could just do this stuff and not use the update tool

btw can someone tell a mod to replace that link i just gave with the one on the ATR guide. i tried a while back and the mod i had asked got it all mixed up. seeing how the link in the ATR sends you to a forum page with a dead link there is not point in having it, it will only confuse people and make them create unnecessary posts.
