Who else is waiting for the Micromax A116 Canvas HD?

Seems that its finally coming out on 14th Feb.:)

Hopefully, we can lay our hands on it. Looks awesome....specs wise.

Should give a 4k benchmark in Quadrant according to igyaan :)

Prices vary. MRP is 14,999. Actual price should be much lower.....hopefully.

*fingers crossed* ;)

I am planning for this as well because there are high chances of getting kernel sources for this from a french brand named Wiko Mobiles

Let me explain the whole fact :)
I am not aware of what you guys are upto but, I got A110 guys an official forum on XDA after conversation with a XDA Admin.
Yes a separate forum for first time ever for an Indian device on XDA. Further, I got to know from people owning A110 that, there exists a french clone of A110 named Wiko Cink King who provide kernel source for every phone they launch :)
So I gave a hit to those sources. After about 1 month of work I got kernel to work perfectly

And now they have first ever custom kernel featuring OC upto 1.4Ghz by me( again first time an Indian device with a custom kernel ;))
The kernel is still under development and I am planning to support all MT6577 devices nearing A110 specs making it a common kernel

Now coming back to the topic, I want to say that Wiko is planning a device launch featuring MT6589 with same specs as A116 so there are high chances of getting sources for A116 ;)

And anyways, if anyone wishes to see the new forum, can check it here :)

For those mediateks to be incorporated into reliable indian companies at a cheap price....8-10 months away.

Besides, if you want cheap NFC, go for Lumia 620. :)

Hey ! Just fighting for NFC , Even that Ninja 4 has it :D

Anyways, I dont find any application of NFC least now !!
and i am sure as and when Google Wallet comes to India not many people will be using it for the same reasons they dont use CC cards ;)
Hence NFC I dont think is a thing to wait for personally :)

Who told u that Ninja 4 has NFC. Mmx doesnt have NFC technology as of now. :D Btw nice to meet after about an year :p
