New android user here .. Been a devoted blackberry user for 7+ years and i'm making the switch to droid (but i still have a back up blackberry on a 2nd line haha) ..
Very tech savvy i love learning how to hack the crap out of my phones (owned 3 jail broken iphones and currently have a jail broken ipod touch) and am dipping my toes into the android field.
just bought an HTC hero for sprint with v1.5 on it. I'm still researching on the whole 2.1/2.0 update and I haven't really made much ground on it (busy busy schedule).
Can you flash these phones so that you can run a 2.0/2.1 update from a different phone (such as moto droid?) onto my hero?

also, how many people are using a mac with there android phone? Any software i should be aware of?
