I have been working with a guy with a PCD Chaser over the past 24 hours and have sucessfully built and booted a creation of mine known as Cyanoid.

What is Cyanoid?


A custom ROM made to immitate Cyanogen for many android devices now.


This version for the PCD Chaser will be based off of 2.3.5 gingerbread.

Known Issues:
Screen flickers on some chasers

Unofficial Final Build 3:

- Screen flickering should be fixed
- Added System Compression
- Removed init.d support ( Makes boot hang and loop )

Installation Instructions

1. Wipe Dalvik Cache
2. Install ROM
3. Fix permissions

DEVELOPER NOTES

PCD Chaser Users:

- Do not wipe anything in CWM other then the Dalvik cache doing so will fail in Cyanoid being able to boot. Everything able to be wiped is formatted and deleted on the initial ROM install ( By installing Cyanoid )


- Overall Gaming and Benchmarking performance I can pretty much guarantee will at least Improve some if not vastly. Animations may appear to be glitchy, This is from the FPS ( Frames per Second) Cap on the Android OS itself being removed. Removing the FPS Cap can potentially increases gaming performance in a vast manner.

I don't lol. "damianmack" came to Skyn3t IRC and asked about rooting and custom ROMs so I through together the GB version of Cyanoid for the chaser for users until you get CM7 going if that is what happens.

thats cool.
I dont really enjoy doing traditional roms anymore. id rather build from source.
Cm7 for chaser.. its close. same black screen issue i had with recovery.

as for your status 6 error.. check the target assert. if that doesnt work.. you may need to repack the zip. sometime they become corrupt for no aparent reason

Iam going to answer the question most of you are wondering, but havent asked....

i dont think ics/jellybean is possible on the chaser.. because, the system partition just isnt large enough. its hardly enough for gingerbread

Can anyone fix this and repack the. Zip? I googled error code 6 and it said it had a script editor used that wasn't compatible. Not sure though.
