Help Problems with Huawei Ascend G300... help?

Hi guys, this is my first post (hope it's in the right place)
I am not rooted and have tried all separate solutions for these in different posts, but to no avail. The only thing I haven't tried is a factory reset.
I've got some issues with my phone:
1. I can't download apps off Google Play because it says 'insufficient storage available' even though I have got a 16gb microSD card with about 10gb left. however my internal storage is 11mb. I don't know if this has anything to do with it but I am also trying to download apps as low as 2mb?
2. I keep getting the 'Unfortunately, [app name] has stopped' message a lot. This seems to be when I am not on the app itself but on the home screen or other apps, however YouTube seems to crash sometimes.
3. Sometimes when downloading apps it goes to the 'Downloading' screen but doesn't get to the percentage?

Hello and welcome to Android Forums, terr. It sounds to me like you've got a clogged up internal and external memory issue. Sometimes that happens when the existing apps and widgets in that came with the device are left in their stock configurations, which often allows for updating at frequent intervals. Apps/widgets such as weather and social networking and Gmail and others.

Go into all that you can find and clear cache and even data on those you don't use. Reboot then configure each suspect app/widget to update on demand (manually) rather than at some interval.

That should clear things up and also speed things up a bit.

One last thing, include the Google Play Store app in your cleaning of cache, but not data of course.

I have App2SD and have moved every app possible. I have also cleared as much cache as possible but no change?

Hi guys,
I'm trying to install apps like frisbee forever and doodle jump, which could usually be saved to SD card but it says insufficient storage available. Huh?

Did you set sdcard as default memory?

I've just done a factory data reset and it's fixed probs. However, it says I have no apps on my sd card yet it also says I've used 8 GB and have 6.6 GB left. Could anyone help explain why that is, or a way to fix it?

Hi again guys,
I thought all probs had stopped but then this one started up again:
I'm trying to update Twitter but it says insufficient storage available (Grrrrrr!) even though I've got 100+ MB left? Can anyone help? And also maybe a way to stop this permanently?

Hello, same phone still storage problems. Tried link2SD and i can see i don't have any space on system part.
The ting is, i have 8GB memory card, the phone has 2GB internal memory (wich is empty and not seen by link2SD) and when i enter Apps>downloaded, i can see another partition with 700MB ??? wich has almost run out of space although i have moved what ever i could on SD card.

Any way, the phone is not rooted so link2sd was usless, but I'm little confused, when you buy a phone it says internal storage 8GB, 16GB, etc.
Why do i have 4 separate partitions without the SD ? (cache, system, user apps, internal storage)
The default storage is the SD card, wich has plenty of space but i guess all the updates and apps use the space from those minuscule partitions.
may be there is a(simpler) way of changing the default location apps use ?
