Spirit 4g available on wirefly

Well, that saves you $31.14 over a Mero store (.06% tax here) but for me they'll need to do better than that.

I spent the past 2 days trying to get Wirefly Sales to even return a damn email. Never happened. 3 different stupid Wirefly people lied to my face on Facebook. Not 24 hrs ago, no one at Wirefly you could contact knew the Spirit MS870 from the SammyZ3 Anvil. ( :D ) An hour of searching yielded NO Corporate email addies I can usually find.

Wirefly, you've got a hole to dig your way out of before you see any of my money and saving tax and activation ain't deep enough digging...

They have the value of this phone higher than the s3. I wonder how they came up with that. :l

I believe the Spirit has wireless HDMI out.

And the Wirefly price was a disappointment.

Looks like I'll wait another month to see if the S-3 drops in price and if not I'll get the Spirit before the end of the MIR period which ends on March 3rd.

I made some good OT coin today and the project is going to come in way under budget and on time, so a cash bonus might be in my future as well.

The Spirit has 1" more screen real estate, but also much better screen res., or so I've heard - can anyone confirm?

If it had an 8MP camera, I would have already bought one but it doesn't.

And like the Motion, the specs. state 1.2 Ghz CPU, but the Motion and the Spirit both benchmark at 1.5 GHz.

I also read the Spirit accepts a 64GB Micro SD card although specs state 32GB

I just wish they would drop the MIR and sell it for $199.00

I'll probably put my iPhone up on eBay this week and when I buy the Spirit, I'll keep my Motion as a backup phone.

Well, since I presume Wirefly gets commissions with the contract phones they sell, I further presume they have contacts with Metro too.

Sounds to me like they may have gotten Metro to tell them what the price is going to be when the rebate deal ends 3/3 and Metro told them the full $269.

269/239 = a 8.8% discount over Metro
149/139 = a 6.7% discount for the Motion (before sale)

Plus you're saving about $30 more with Wirefly with no $15 mandatory activate or tax.

I could well go with Wirefly but they give me the heebiejeebies. :deal:

If everything goes fine with them, well, fine. You're golden. And, maybe their phone system works fine too.

But if it doesn't and it doesn't, You Are Screwed.

They are 110% incapable of answering a damn email. None of my usual tricks to contact members of their Executive board work. For me, this is unusual.

I would seriously cover my bases with them. No question on what or when you are getting. Having Just the phone as a communication with only one area of the company makes me very nervous.

I think there is one other discount phone seller and frankly as much as I like a deal, Wirefly's lack of bidness acumen has PO'd me enough to check everyone else out too.

I just ordered this phone on Wirefly and the confirmation email said not to activate the phone through MetroPCS. That was what I was planning on doing, by just calling MetroPCS and switching over my number from the LG Motion 4G. Can I not do this if I bought this phone from Wirefly?

Did you activate your Motion by phone?

I got my motion from wirefly and activated by calling. My spirit however was bought from metro's website and activated by phone as well.

So I'm guessing it's possible, but not sure why wirefly told you, you can't.

That's pretty strange.

I ordered mine on 2/13 from WF and got it 2/21, there was no such info in my order. In fact, I looked at everything pretty closely. The packing list said I should have gotten a "Welcome to MetroPCS" notice, which I didn't. I assumed somehow WF knew I wasn't a new activate. It could have just as well been a mistake too I guess.

Also, as late as around 2/20 or so, on Metro's Faceplant page they told me I could activate a WF phone either by dialing *228 or on-line as there was some question here.

Even though you should contact Wirefly and verify, it looks to me as though Wirefly screwed up and sent a confirmation meant for a 'on-contract' phone, like one from Sprint. Wirefly requires contract carrier's phones to be activated through them, not the carrier. Bruce is 100% correct, I saw the same posting on their FB page and they verified that a Wirefly phone can be activated through MetroPCS. Also, I emailed Wirefly, because I intend to switch from a Motion to a Spirit, and they responded (within 24 hours) that I had to go through MetroPCS to switch phones.
