Well since the one at Howardforums(it was a pretty fun and accurate thread, the thread was created around the LG Rumour Touch release and was closed around the release of the Evo V 4G) closed down, I decided to make one over here. In this thread you can discuss your opinions on what devices you think might come to VM, discuss rumored devices that are stated to come by 3rd party sources, and discuss which device out of the rumored devices is better(the actual phone) and/or more likely to come.

I don't think VM will bring over a iPhone 5, I don't think they would get enough profit; maybe in December though. They will either bring, the HTC evo LTE, the Samsung galaxy s3, or a LG device(probably the lg optimus g). Virgin mobile was talking about, playing with all manufactures, last year and we haven't really got a high end LG device in a while. I mean it could be a Motorola, ZTE, or a LG, but a LG is more possible and being that one of Sprint's top major devices last year was the optimus g(the others were HTC evo lte and galaxy s3).

I also think it will be the Evo LTE. The telltale signs would either be when our Evo V is sold ridiculously cheap to clear it out, the LTE is sold cheap to get cleared out, or something like the One comes to Sprint. Two of these are already occurring (Evo V is cheap and One is going to Sprint), so the LTE seems to be the most logical step. Maybe the Samsung Galaxy SIII will come a year after the S2, so after the LTE. I just want to force a year of use of my Evo V and then move to the next Nexus with T-Mobile, whether it's the X phone or the Nexus 5, or whatever.

What MY suspicion is...if VM is planning on 'playing with all manufacturers...'

There will be a ZTE phone coming up, which is hit and miss IMO.

Evo LTE (which I want) by...summers end/holiday season is my guess.

LG Optimus G (Possibly.) We are due to see a new LG Phone soon...Though I'm surprised we got Two HTC's in a row, then two samsung devices in a row...

Galaxy S3/Note2. One of these HAS to come to VM. (Note 2! GOGOGO!)

iPhone 5 (once the 6 comes out. Or 5(insert random letter here.))

That's my input. We'll see how close or far off I am.

Though a CDMA Nexus 4 would be nice for VM :< who knows though.

Maybe Sprint's Galaxy Nexus leftovers.

Evo V is already being cleared out at $99

Evo V is already being cleared out at $99

Except there aren't any available. Radio Shack is advertising them at $99.99 but have none on-line or in the stores... I have been trying to find one for two weeks and the RS sale ends the 16th. They have no answer when asked when they may be in stock at either place.

Best Buy and Target will price match but haven't been able to find any at BB in the store or on-line. Found one Target with one left and got it immediately. None other in the Dallas area which has a LOT of RS, BB and Target stores.

There ought to be a law against advertising something that is not available for purchase.... Actually, think there is one. Should be enforced then!!! :)

The optimus g is A LOT better(with the exception of a removable battery, and microsd card slot) than the evo LTE and gs3, but the optimus g have a smaller dev community. That makes the decision a lot harder to choose between the 3, if all 3 decided to come. In self defence we did get 3 flagship worthy devices last year around the same time(the evo v, gs2, and the iphone 4s), so it could be possible this year too.

The gs2 came to VM and Boost, one year after it's release, so why not the gs3. By the time VM gets the gs3, the gs4 should be released making the significance and the price of the gs3 drop. And the optimus g has better specs than the gs3, and is comparable against the NII.
