Amazing Battery Life? Extended Battery?

Is anyone ready to see what extended batteries Samsung offers for this phone? I know they probably won't have one at launch, but I did some research and here's what I've found.

The GS4 is about the same size as a GS3 and yet has a 2600mah battery, while the GS3 has 2100mah. The Razr HD MAXX is the kind of batteries with 3300mah, said to last an entire day and then some.

However the GS3 has a 3000mah extended battery, that adds 1.1mm of thickness. Now if we assume the GS4 has a battery the same width and height as the GS3, then we can assume a similar thickness would add a similar capacity. Thus 1.1 mm added to the GS4 could net a 3500mah battery, that would mean a 9.0mm thick GS4 with a bigger battery than the phone that is the king of batteries, or if we bump it up to the 9.3mm of the Razr MAXX, we can get to 3745mah, go to 9.7mm we can have over 4000mah. That's still a pretty slim phone, and would net unbelievable battery life.

So is anyone ready to see motorola knocked off its pedestal for battery life, with a thinner phone? Anyone still buying the whole claim that a non removable back is necessary, in order to get such amazing capacity?

I for one can't wait to see a 3500-4000mah GS4 extended battery, particularly by Samsung.

Why use those bulky extended batteries, when all you need is one extra battery to carry in your pocket, purse, in your sock LOL, and keep your phone nice and slim, it takes me 30 seconds to replace the battery in my S3, and that has only happened a couple of times "out all day without a charging port available", since the battery lasts me pretty much all day.

Because 7.9mm is too thin for me, and I'd rather have 3500mah in a 9-9.5mm phone. I'm not talking a super thick phone here. The HTC Thunderbolt came out 3 yrs ago, has no slide out keyboard, and is over 13mm thick, as is the HTC rezound which came out 2 years ago. 9-9.5mm isn't thick for a phone, that the droid razr hd maxx, or a galaxy nexus level of thickness.

Now if you are thinking of the extended batteries that double the thickness of the phone, I hate those, but we can get similar battery life now, without that thickness.

How would you charge the spare battery?
Get up in the middle of the night, pull out one battery then put in the spare?
What a nuisance.

If I still had my gs3 I'd be getting the Samsung extended battery for sure I don't mind adding a small amount of thickness to not have to worry about the battery

I have a note2 and the battery lasts me 24-30hrs but I still bought a spare battery.
