My Droid is extremely slow now-HELP PLZ

So my Droid has become incredibly slow and its a shame cause I really really like this phone. Youtube vids take more than 120 seconds to load 7:00m vids on a 4 bar 3G Connection (used to take 20 seconds), downloads from the Android market only go at 4-8kbs per 4 seconds and downloads in general now take FOREVER. Plus I've got page lag back and everything loads a lot slower. Can somebody help me please?

standard things to check:
1. power cycle your phone. pull battery out for 10 seconds.
2. *228 and then press 2 (this will update your PRL)
3. check your recently installed apps and see if they are taking a lot of memory to run.
4. uninstall that program if need be. or stop using it.

other than that call verizon? or maybe to a factory reset

Try using it on a (fast) WiFi connection to see if it's still slow or not. If it is, then it's gotta be a resource hog somewhere on the phone (kill all apps and try again, if not then trial and error by running apps one at a time). If it's fast, then it has to be a CDMA network issue. Do a *228, option 2 as mentioned above to update your PRL. If neither of those work, then I'd take it to Verizon to verify some sort of defect with them.

Im having the same issue in the Nashville area, I have full bars of 3g but downloads at 1x speeds. I really think its Verizon's fault though. Just did two SpeedTest's, 1.5 & 5.4kB/s download, 90.4 & 97.8kB/s upload.
