I have a Hydro rooted using New Root Method No Pc on the Kyocera Rise section. Worked first time no problem. My whole point of rooting was to use PdaNet/Foxfi for the hidden usage since im on Boost Mobile. I had it before on my LG Marquee and worked fine without root. I have it installed on the rooted Hydro with Foxfi but I cant get it to work at all for some reason. wifi Tether works perfect and Easy Tether for usb works perfect. Im just looking for answer to why PdaNet/Foxfi will not work.It says phone not attached and yes Im a noob... Any 411 appreciated :) (Sorry first thread I've written so I don't know if this is in the correct place or not)

It keeps saying phone not attached....Doe's anyone have Foxfi running on their Hydro that could give me any instructions please. Im rooted so I don't know if thats the problem or if I need to have just Foxfi downloaded and not the Pda/Foxfi instead?? Maybe a network settings problem I don't have set up correctly?? Im running Wifi Tether right now with no problems but just want PdaNet to work for usage hidden capabilities.. Any help would be appreciated.

Was there any specific way of hooking up PDAnet for the Hydro that Im missing or could you give me the steps?? I had it hooked up on my last phone (LG Marquee) and I hooked it up on both my mother and sisters phones but I cant do this phone (Rooted Kyocera Hydro).. Don't understand... Maybe a certain version of PDAnet or a driver for the Hydro possibly..Any help would be thankful again. Im also connecting through a Mac if that matters. Never had a problem before. If you need my email let me know please. If feel like an idiot asking this for some reason..

FoxFi is not compatible with the Hydro, it's what I used on my Marquee and Prevail before, I wish it did cause I loved the program but like I said for some reason it's not compatible, think the compatibility issues are due to it not working on Android 4.0+ I've never had an issue with using it on any Gingerbread device...

The zte warp was gingerbread, an foxfi would freeze the phone. So I'm not sure thats its a 4.0+ issue. Maybe boost is blocking it, by you said it worked on your marquee, so I don't know exactly

Well that blows if so....Are you sure about it not working with 4.0 +Android??? My sister has a Samsung Rush and it has 4.0.4 just like the Hydro and runs PDAnet no problem (usb) only.... I wish anyone could answer that and tell me if it's not possible at all with this phone. Any work around is good too :smokingsomb:
