[SPOILERS] Walking Dead Discussion

I think the one to kill the Gov has to be Andrea or Rick. If Andrea were to off the governor trusting her would come a lot easier. If Rick were the one to put a bullet to the Gov, it would reinforce his power and show everyone that he is still able to lead them.

Just saw the preview.. the dark preview. The governor is messed up, you can guess who that is for.. an Eye for an Eye, I'm pretty sure that is exactly what he has in mind

Pretty intense episode..

Why on earth did Andrea not take the governor's truck, or if the keys weren't in it at least slash the tires. Do you think Milton is going to discover the govs prisoner before he does anything to her? And what about the pit fire, what do you think he is going to do about it, he has high suspicions about it being Milton, as I am sure everyone does.

Pretty sure next episode will be just mainly the prison group, and the last episode will be the two groups facing off and ending before anything major happens, leaving us with a major cliff hanger

Merle somewhat redeemed himself, but still got taken out. Is it really that easy to bite two fingers off? I doubt it. (not trying it myself, though lol) Daryl went off stabbing his bro in the face lol.

He must have bit down pretty damn hard. TBH, the gov's teeth don't appear all that sharp. In fact, they appear very linear. For example, I have many sharp-esque teeth, so if I were to bite someone hard enough - I would think that I might take off a pretty chunk, but not him though.

I'm still trying to figure out why Merle didn't just stab him. However, the writers couldn't have the Governor go out like that. Pretty lame way to die, imo.

Merle's redemption and Rick's realization that he can't be the governor(for lack of a better words), were a long time coming.
They both were doing bad things because they thought thats what they needed to do. It seemed to me that they both realized it, Rick's being more subtle since it was a Merle-centric episode.
I honestly think Merle knew it was the end. He realized that he couldn't be the good guy. So he went for one final stand.
It was a very good end to one character arch and a great change to the other.

I guess it could be slightly possible if you bit right at the knuckles, but biting through the finger bones seems near impossible.
But yeah, they need a good end for the Governor. I hope they wrap it up next week without a huge cliff hanger ending that will just piss everybody off though lol.

Seriously! I don't want another cliff hanger ending. All I want is the gov to die in a gruesome manner.

Yea the Gov dies in the comic, but not before taking out a few main characters first.. but they have started to stray too far off the comics to rely on it for hints now.

So is Daryl going to think the Gov did this? or is he going to think Michone had something to do with it? I knew a zombie was going to come out of no where when he was taking shots, but was still mad regardless! haha.. Wish he would have at least taken out Ceasar and Shupert, being those are the two men that pretty much drive the Govs force..

Be prepared for a major cliff hanger next week you know its going to happen

There will definitely be a huge cliff hanger next week. Hopefully they at least conclude the conflict with Woodbury vs the Jail.

If I were a writer this is how I would end this season: Rick and the Gov battle and of course Rick wins but is about to execute the Gov with his magnum. Then he hallucinates Lori in the Gov's place (for who knows what reason) and has to shoot her in the face to get rid of the visions, as well as kill the Gov in real life.

...Yes I hate (still hate) Lori that much that she has to die multiple times.

I would squeel with joy if that were how it ended next week.

I couldn't remember who killed the Governor, it's been so long since I read that. I had to go back and look through the books. There was so much more going on that got skipped over in the show, and total different characters that were alive lol. I had to re-read the part where Michonne gets revenge on the Governor while I had the books out. I wish they could have gone that far on the show. Has him tied up with his "little governor" nailed to the floor, took a power drill to him, cut his arm off at the elbow, took his eyeball out with a spoon, then cut off his "little gov". Epic! The way he got killed was actually a little anti climactic.

On another note, as popular as the show is, I really hope they up the budget next season. Not that it didn't look good, but you can just tell they were held back on some things because of budget.Like the prison seems much smaller and less secure, they just drive through the fence with a truck, in the books they needed a tank. In Woodbury, the fighting arena was a small gym, in the books it was a racetrack.

I also wonder where they will take the story after this. The prison/Woodbury story arc is arguably the best and most exciting in the series. Though the new enemy they have in book #17 makes the Governor look like a wuss lol. There's a long way to go between there, though, a lot of it not as TV friendly.

Damn. I didn't want Andrea to die. She was annoying, but she becomes such an important character in the books. She is one of the few that is actually still alive. I think they are killing people just to throw people off who have read them.
So the Governor is still out there somewhere, I can't believe Martinez and the other guy stayed with him.
Carl is losing it. I wouldn't turn my back on him.
I wonder how long they can baby sit the bus full of old folks lol.
At last it didn't end on a huge cliffhanger.
Imagine if this show was on HBO with a Game of Thrones size budget.

wow I was wrong, but I am completely fine with that lol. It was quite an impressive episode, I was thinking at first that maybe they had left for king county, but when they were walking in the dark looking for them thats when I knew what was going on haha.

Rick has come to his senses? It looked as if he was looking for Lori towards the end there but she wasn't there, and Carl picking up where Rick left off?

6 months until the new season, gonna be a lonnnng wait haha
